Offering thoughtful, evidence-informed support, with opportunities to integrate creative processes and time in nature
Dee is a qualified and registered counsellor who values the richness and complexity of relationships and connections between people, communities and the natural world. Her work is person-centred, recognising that each individual brings their own strengths, values and understandings and that different approaches suit different people. Respecting, valuing and celebrating diversity is central to the way she works.
With a background in environmental science and education, she integrates creative approaches and nature-based practices within an evidence-informed therapeutic framework that supports self-awareness, emotional regulation and meaning making.
In sessions, there may be talking, creation, noticing and exploration – using conversation, metaphor, art-making or nature connection as supportive pathways. This may include nature journaling, collage, or symbolic expression, and sessions are often held outdoors (either seated or as walk and talk therapy) to support nervous-system regulation and a sense of groundedness. Dee’s focus on relationship, safety and building strong foundations for sustainable change, supports people to reconnect with their strengths and values.
